NICKEL ALLOYS – INCONEL® & MONEL®
Titan Engineering distributes high-temperature, corrosion-resistant grades of Nickel and Cobalt alloys. Materials are supplied in sheet, plate and bar forms. Our long-standing relationship with the premier US mills, as well as leading distributors, allows us fast deliveries for hard-to-find metals for the aerospace, petrochemical, and electronic industries. These alloys are supplied in Annealed condition AMS 5662 or in Solution Treated & Aged-STA (AMS 5663) condition.
Nickel alloys are a natural choice within the aerospace industry. Engine parts, in particular, are exposed to high temperatures and high pressure. Materials need to be able to withstand this environment and retain their strength and integrity. Nickel alloys exhibit low expansion at these high temperatures, offer creep resistance under high-stress conditions, and are corrosion-resistant. Hastelloy®, Inconel® have higher melting point, so they are ideal for high-temperature applications across a variety of industries.

Inconel® is a nickel-chromium alloy that is classified as a superalloy because of its high-performance qualities like resistance to corrosion at high temperatures. It performs well in both low and high temperature applications where other materials such as steel and aluminum would fail. These special alloys also have high resistance to pitting, and crevice resistance.
